In my studio 2023...

"Classical Gas" in aged-care communities: Structure and artistic content

As you can see from the below list of selected songs used, my instrumental performances of timeless gems include international classical, waltzes, pop, and movie themes. The selection is most suitable for residents in aged-care communities and proving highly popular and very in-demand.

The unique one-hour recitals involve stimulating, informative and often humorous discussion about the compositions (for example what classic films certain pieces were used in, and why) and how they relate to residents’ cultural and linguistic backgrounds and experiences.

My long experience working in aged-care communities includes concerts for the general population, but also appropriate sessions for those in specialist memory units. You can check out underlying principles of my performances on the following page of Performance Practice.

Please see some of the reviews and feedback from other RAOs on the Reviews page, I hold all relevant documentation (ABN, police check, insurance, flu+Covid cert. and NDIS worker check) and my service cost is available on request.
